Since its inception in 2001, FACE 06 has supported students from the French Riviera in realizing their projects under the best possible conditions. As such, the federation now comprises nearly 40 associations geographically spread between Cannes and Menton, working throughout the year to best represent the students.
This year, the members of FACE 06 have chosen to place their trust in Louis Voisin, a Master’s student in Law, and his team, succeeding Nicolas Rodi’s team.
The policy of this new office will remain faithful to the values upheld by the association, namely: representing and defending the rights and interests of students in the Alpes-Maritimes both materially and morally, promoting student associative engagement, and representing students before higher education authorities.
This new team, bringing ambitious ideas, is already working on implementing new actions aimed at enriching key projects such as the “Social and Solidarity Grocery,” “AGORA-é,” the “APPARTÉ” housing plan, and the Student Welcome Day (Journée d’Accueil des étudiantes, JAE).
It is noteworthy that to achieve these goals, two new divisions have been created: the “Social Innovation” division, which aims to address existing student issues innovatively, and the IT division, which focuses on facilitating the successful development of digital projects, including a mobile application planned for this 2017/2018 term.
