A new training center in the airport sector is opening in Nice.

Camas Formation and the Apave group open a training center in Nice. Not far from the airport, the goal is to train in the field of airport operations using new technologies.

In 2023, Camas Formation trained 2,900 people in Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur. Therefore, they decided with the Apave group to open a new training center in Nice. Actors in the airport sector are facing significant recruitment needs in various professions.

A formation accessible for everyone

Since 2022, the Apave group and Camas Formation have partnered to offer qualifying training for the safety of people, property, and the environment. Being the second largest airport in France, Nice is the ideal location to open this center, near the airport. 250 qualifying and certifying trainings are aimed at job seekers, those in professional transition, as well as active professionals wishing to upgrade their skills. The trainings are also accessible directly after post-secondary education. At the Nice center, learners will be trained in six of the most in-demand professions in the airport sector:ย 

  • Mechanic
  • Passenger Service Agent
  • Traffic Agent
  • Ramp Agent
  • Customer Relations Agent

The training programs for traffic agents, ramp agents, and customer relations agents account for 50% of the needs identified in the market. For Ludovic Rozier, CEO of Camas Formation: โ€œThis new center is aligned with the course of history. It will serve as a reference and allow us to write a new page geared towards the future.โ€

Brand New Premises

Although the training takes place in Apave premises, the building has been completely renovated. Located on the first floor, no less than 300mยฒ are entirely dedicated to airport training. It includes six rooms each equipped with interactive screens. A camera is located on the side of the screens for remote trainers. A computer room with computers is available for trainees, featuring 3D software. Hololens is also available to offer immersive experiences.
