The group “Azur et Elles,” composed of eight undergraduate students in professional event communication from IUT Nice Côte d’Azur, is organizing the charity fashion show “OneshowOnecause” this upcoming March 10th at the Hôtel Aston la Scala in Nice.
Breast cancer is the most frequently observed cancer among women in France. According to figures from the French National Cancer Institute, approximately 54,000 new cases were diagnosed in 2015. Although the survival rate is between 75% and 85%, over 11,000 deaths were attributed to it in the same year.
“OneshowOnecause” is a charity fashion show benefiting the association SOS Breast Cancer, organized by a group of eight students as part of their guided project. On Sunday, March 10th at 2 PM, on the rooftop of the Hôtel Aston La Scala in Nice, volunteer models will take to the runway in the presence of Caroline Perengo, Miss Côte d’Azur 2019. The aim is to raise funds for the association while conveying a message of support for women affected by breast cancer, either directly or indirectly. After the fashion show, workshops on beauty, health, and well-being will be set up.
The president of SOS Breast Cancer will also be present to inform and talk about prevention to the public.
