A citizen gathering will take place this Saturday, November 30 at 10 a.m. at Place Garibaldi to say STOP RACISM.

Nowadays, the underlying climate of xenophobia in our country, as evidenced by the racist attacks that the Minister of Justice, Christiane Taubira, has endured for several months, culminated during the commemorations of November 11, a day of national unity, which were disrupted by far-right provocations.

Many of us condemn these racist remarks and the assaults made against the Republic.

The indignation in response to this situation is deep, as shown by the strong support for the appeal “France, pull yourself together,” which received over 60,000 signatures in three weeks.

Now, it’s time to mobilize in the streets, demonstrating a mixed France committed to republican values and living together.
