A few kilometers from Nice, in Le Cannet, a major charitable and football event is organized by the School Canteens for Sahelian Children Association (C.S.E.S.). Their names are prestigious and fill stadiums as well as venues. Footballers, comedians, artists, they will be on the field for a tournament like no other. There is only one winner: the children!!! This day of solidarity and sharing will take place at the Palestre stadium in Le Cannet (20 minutes from Nice) this Sunday, June 23rd at 4 PM.

Featuring Bruno Bellone, Johan Micoud, Christian Karembeu, Robert Pirès, Jean-Luc Ettori, Jackson Richardson, Sonny Anderson, Lorànt Deutsch, Raphaël Mezrahi… M. Pokora, Grégoire… and many other surprises!!
Four teams of 8 players will compete in 4 matches of 20 minutes each, with 10 minutes of recovery between each match.
Several activities will complement this football tournament: an opening dance show orchestrated by the Burkinabe choreographer Issa Aimé Ouédraogo from the Téné Company, and a recital by the very popular young soul singer, Mariama, who hails from Sierra Leone.
All funds raised on this occasion will be entirely donated to C.S.E.S. This association believes that children are the future of this world and it is our duty to provide optimal conditions for them to live, prepare, and evolve. Education for rural populations is a strategic priority in the fight against extreme poverty, hunger, and illiteracy, as well as for the promotion of rural development.
With C.S.E.S., parents will no longer have to worry about feeding their children. The school canteen, through the meals it provides, will address many nutritional deficiencies that these children suffer from.
C.S.E.S. is a human-scale project, involving the construction of the canteen, a second classroom, a school vegetable garden, a chicken coop, etc.
