nice_express.jpg Participate in the 1st pedestrian rally organized by Mรฉditerranรฉe 2000 and the League against Cancer 06 with the support of the city of Nice! No raincoats, no jet lag, no mosquitoes, no Julien Leppers. Instead, questions about health and the environment, an original discovery of Nice, and loads of good humor!

This pedestrian rally project was awarded at the 2nd Environmental Trophies (an idea competition organized by the City of Nice) with a grant of โ‚ฌ3000 for the “coup de cล“ur” prize.

For the organizers, the objectives of this rally are threefold:

  • Raise awareness among participants and the general public about the relationships between Health and Environment: cancer prevention, protection of our environment, relationships between sport/health/environment, eco-citizenship (waste sorting, sustainable mobility, air quality)
  • Promote and highlight local health and environmental actors
  • Unite the territory around a constructive and civic project: improve our environment to preserve our health.

The city of Nice financially supports this initiative with a grant of โ‚ฌ3000 for the “Coup de Cล“ur” Prize of the 2nd Environmental Trophies.

On Saturday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 150 people are expected at Place Massรฉna to complete stages on the theme “Health and Environment.” From stand to stand, participating teams will answer a series of questions on environmental protection, health prevention, and environmental factors. For each correct answer, teams will accumulate points.
