A huge crowd was at the gates of the convention center in the Acropolis district of Nice, to attend the video game festival.

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region hosts numerous festivals. Among these events is the Play Azur festival, which has mainly attracted younger generations. Video games continue to evolve due to technological progress, and many volunteers came to introduce the main attendees to this, through various workshops.

Among these workshops, there were introductions to virtual driving, e-sports competitions. Although the festival is primarily dedicated to video games, it also includes board games, the organization of Sumo wrestling matches, and parades of key manga characters like One Piece.

The goal of this festival is to foster an interest in these games and enable young people to understand certain fun aspects. This is what the Epitech computer school aimed to achieve through coding initiation, which will become essential in the coming years.
What was also much appreciated was diving into different universes, such as Hollywood or even Jurassic Park.

Fans of manga, comics, and video games had plenty to occupy their time during this festival, and they could also take home souvenirs to remember the event.
Numerous events will continue at the Palais des Congrès in the coming days, for the enjoyment of locals and tourists alike.
