Saturday evening in Nice, the body of a woman was found in the trunk of a car.
It was in the underground parking lot of 272 Boulevard de la Madeleine on Saturday evening that a mother of four children was found lifeless, strangled. Aged 45, Lisa T. had just separated from the father of her children after 25 years of living together. Her ex-partner did not accept the separation and allegedly harassed her to the point that she filed a police report.
After initially taking Lisa’s son into custody, it was ultimately her ex-partner, named Khalid, who was arrested. Later, the 60-year-old man confessed to the crime and has been in detention since Monday, charged with murder.
A silent march is planned for this Saturday, January 9, to pay tribute to Lisa and to support her children. It will start at 1 PM from 193 Boulevard de la Madeleine, the children’s home, and head towards Magnan. Upon arrival, a minute of silence will be observed. A fundraising campaign has also been set up to assist the victim’s four children.
The murder of Lisa T. is already the third femicide of 2022 in France.
