As we announced this week in NP, the operation “The whole county in red and black” is currently underway, showcasing the most beautiful decorations on the theme of the Gym’s favorite colors. She tells us about this contest ending on November 25th for the match against PSG at the Ray, as well as the good atmosphere currently prevailing in the red and black house, with calm restored after previous years’ storms.
Nice Premium: Virginie, how is the “The County in Red and Black” operation going?
Virginie Rossetti: It’s going very well, photos are coming from everywhere and the reactions are very positive, once again demonstrating the love of the people of Nice for their club and their identity!
NP: Any insights on the first photos received?
VR: One photo caught our attention, that of an expatriate in the Parisian region who redecorated his entire house in red and black, from floor to ceiling, from the front door to the back of the garden!! It’s an opportunity to give a big shout out to all the expats who continue to follow and support the Gym despite the distance!
NP: Have you planned any other operations for the upcoming months?
VR: The launch of the third jersey (never seen before in the French Championship) and the establishment of an OGC Nice store in a completely unexpected location in December!!
NP: Nice football and rugby are pairing up again, can you tell us more?
VR: We are pleased to help each other whenever possible, Christophe MONI will kick off the Nice-PSG match, an opportunity to highlight the revival of Nice Rugby through its coach.
But it will also be an opportunity to present the third Gym jersey through him, thus drawing a parallel between the mentality of rugby and football in Nice: fighting spirit, strength, and solidarity.
NP: What new things does OGC Nice’s good season bring this year?
VR: Everything!!!!
It’s a real relief…everyone has refocused and thus re-concentrated on the essentials: work!!
And this serenity is largely thanks to the team allowing us to experience it, thanks to the good results…
In this sense, we are not quite like any other company, the weekend results determine the week to come…so this year, we’re savoring it!!!
NP: Finally, what lovely things will we find in OGC Nice’s Christmas stocking?
VR: In my eyes, and since I’ve been waiting for it for 31 years, Father Christmas already came last August 29th… More seriously, what we can ask from Father Christmas is for no injuries, that the group’s harmony continues to be so good, and obviously that we reach safety as soon as possible, to aim perhaps a bit higher…
