The Maison de l’Environnement will host the second edition of the wooden toy festival (the flagship event of the Atelier de Geppetto) which will bring together wonderful artisans, manufacturers of durable and natural wooden toys, worthy of our wildest childhood dreams! Throughout the year, the Maison de l’Environnement offers activities, conferences, and exhibitions to raise awareness of the richness of our environment.
On November 25th and 26th, numerous artisan stands (with products made in France and Europe) will be present to offer games suitable for all age groups, and to complement this program, the Wooden Toy Festival will also feature:
• For young visitors: a workshop on the design and manufacture of wooden toys and a wooden horse racing workshop;
• For adults: three conferences on wooden game creation and the educational value of these toys;
• For everyone: exhibition stands of antique wooden toys, from the late 19th century to the 60s.
The Atelier de Geppetto association is a non-profit 1901 law association founded by Coraly de Beauregard, who is currently the president. Its primary mission is to help hospitalized children during Christmas by gifting them beautiful wooden games and toys. For the second consecutive year, the team will offer wonderful toys to the hematology department of L’Archet hospital.
