ABI 06 will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday, October 4th by organizing a full day of activities at Place Garibaldi from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Founded in 1994 and a Work Integration Project under IAE, ABI 06 has helped over 650 people find employment in Nice through the collection of textiles, linens, and shoes. Donating your used clothes becomes an act of citizenship that helps create local jobs within the collection area.
Thus, on the occasion of this anniversary, a large open-air sale is organized with free entry.
Its mission is to fight against exclusion by offering economic activity-based integration and support towards employment for people facing significant integration challenges.
The collection and repurposing of textiles allow ABI 06 to offer second-hand clothing at reduced prices in its shops (two points of sale in Nice and one in Cannes.)
However, ABI 06 does not forget those most in need and provides clothes to people in severe distress through CCAS, Samu Social, or the Departmental Solidarity Houses.
Finally, the action of ABI 06 is also ecological. Non-recyclable textiles are transformed by their partner “Le Relais” into house insulation material called “Le METISSE.”
