President Abinader announced the implementation of the program “The Government in the Provinces,” which aims to address the needs of the Dominican people through his administration’s officials.
The new style of governance that characterizes President Luis Abinader keeps him close to the citizens, but starting tomorrow, he will do so even more through the important program “Government in the Provinces,” based on the visits that, starting next Sunday, the administration’s ministers will make in all territorial demarcations of the Dominican Republic to address the population’s needs and ensure the follow-up of the work implemented during his administration.
The news of the program’s implementation was announced by the President himself after a four-and-a-half-hour meeting at the National Palace with the Government Council.
The presence of officials before the population is the most direct way to understand the needs of the Dominican people in order to improve their living conditions, the main objective of the President’s administration. Additionally, the plan will allow citizens to obtain information from the ministers about the projects the government has in their provinces, as they will uphold their commitment to inform and listen to the citizens’ opinions in this regard.
Abinader continues to pave the desired path for every Dominican. On this occasion, he has integrated the decentralization of politics into governance, bringing politics closer to the citizens through government action that is both close and transparent.
