After the record figure (87.3%) for obtaining the Baccalauréat in the Nice Academy, the Brevet has also improved, reaching an 82.8% success rate.
The national diploma of the Brevet (DNB) is a diploma that certifies the knowledge acquired at the end of middle school. It does not condition access to a higher grade at the end of ninth grade. Since the 2013 session, the DNB includes two series: the general series and the professional series.
