Academy of Nice: The School Identity Card “Stop the Violence! React!”

Latest News

As part of the major national campaign “Act Against School Bullying,” launched on January 24, 2012, the Boulanger Foundation and the Ministry of National Education are collaborating to distribute the “School Identity Card: Stop Violence! React!” to all students in 4th and 5th grades.

In the Nice school district, this card is distributed to the 43,330 students in 4th and 5th grades across 664 public and private schools under contract. Nationally, 2 million school identity cards have been produced by the Boulanger Foundation.

Through Max and Lili, well-known heroes to our students, this educational card uses simple words and concrete situations to present the different types of violence and bullying, and provides appropriate advice to respond to them.

Since 1998, the Boulanger Foundation has offered an annual school identity card addressing ever-renewed themes: internet dangers, environmental respect, domestic accidents, etc. Within the context of this campaign, it has chosen to engage massively alongside the Ministry of National Education, Youth, and Community Life with a shared goal: to break the taboo and make fighting school bullying everyone’s business.
