Access to Theater for All in Nice

This operation aims to offer everyone a moment of relaxation, to put aside daily worries for an afternoon.
During these two performances, nearly 500 people will attend the play “The Midday Demon”:

– The performance on Tuesday, April 21, will be reserved for seniors from Nice, members of animation clubs and housing homes of the CCAS of Nice,
– The one on Wednesday, April 22, will be for audiences in precarious situations: users of the CCAS day and night reception, RMI recipients, and users of associations such as the Salvation Army, Secours Populaire, and Mรฉdiation Citรฉ.
For these individuals, the cost of a theatre ticket is a major barrier to culture.
The goal of this event is therefore to offer them an afternoon of relaxation but, beyond that, to provide them access to culture, to make them aware of theatre, and to assist in the discovery of a venue which this audience has never been able to or dared to enter.

The Midday Demon

Adapted from the comic strip by Florence Cestac, this show delighted Parisian evenings from 2003 with the performance by Michรจle Bernier.
A true comedy of manners, the play traces the story of a woman cheated on by her husband.
Today, it is Laurentine Laurence Laouadi who takes on the role in a staging by Gus. Alternately playing the inconstant husband, the cheated wife, or the mistress, the actress performs no fewer than 32 characters who will take us from laughter to tears.
