Unemployment in the Eurozone is at its lowest in 4 years. The recovery that has been occurring over the past few months in Europe is indeed allowing the activities of member states to gain growth.

Eurostat, which measures unemployment according to the International Labour Organization, calculated a rate of 10.5% in the Eurozone in November. This is a decrease of 0.1 percentage points compared to October, a small decline but still enough for unemployment in the 19 countries using the single currency to show the lowest rate since November 2011.

In France, the European Statistics Office calculated an unemployment rate of 10.1%, with 126,000 fewer job seekers than a year ago.

The unemployment rate in the European Union stands at 9.1%.
