The Franco-German Day on January 22nd provides an opportunity each year to better promote the culture and language of the partner country. This date was chosen in 2003 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty signed on January 22, 1963, in order to solidify the Franco-German reconciliation.
As part of the Franco-German Day, the City of Nice is organizing an event showcasing the culture and traditions of both countries at the municipal nursery Terra Amata.
This Tuesday at 10 a.m., children, along with their parents, will attend a session of nursery rhymes followed by a puppet show.
