The new prefect, Adolphe Colrat, officially took office by taking possession of the prefectural palace located in Old Nice.


prefet-nice.jpg At 58 years old, a graduate of the École Normale and the École Nationale d’Administration from the “Solidarity” class, he officially succeeded Christophe Mirmand, who was appointed in Corsica.

Adolphe Colrat stated, “There are no shortage of challenges, whether it’s employment, housing, transport, and, of course, security, without which our freedoms decline.”

Adolphe Colrat will “meet with the active forces of the Alpes-Maritimes, businesses, associations, institutions working in the fields of the economy, culture, as well as health and social action.”

His previous assignments have been in Réunion, Corrèze, Ardennes, and French Polynesia.
