The AFIJ organized a career meeting on the theme of setting up business in the social and solidarity economy this Tuesday, at the CRIJ from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This was an opportunity for young graduates to learn all the subtleties of a rather vague sector.
Entering the workforce is not always easy for a young person who has just graduated. To assist them, the Association for Facilitating the Professional Insertion of Young Graduates (AJIP) organized a career meeting this Tuesday on the theme of “business creation in the social and solidarity economy”.
Inform and exchange
Around twenty students and young graduates from bachelor’s to doctorate levels were present to attend the conferences at the CRIJ on Gioffredo Street from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The agenda included the following issues:
- Business creation in the Social and Solidarity Economy
- The different steps and procedures for creating one’s business
- The various schemes and aids available for starting a business
- The operation and modalities of each structure
Professionals supporting project holders in the social and solidarity economy were invited to speak on this theme. They informed students and young graduates about the different stages of creation, financial aid, and specificities related to business creation in the social and solidarity economy. To support these statements, the speakers were accompanied by representatives from PILES, ADIE, the Solidarity Economy Pole, Energies Alternatives, CLAIE-DLA, Nice Côte d’Azur Initiatives and the ACEC Management Shop. The conferences were followed by a question-and-answer session to delve deeper into the subject.
This is one of the sectors unfamiliar to young people in higher education that the AFIJ brought to light. Participants were able to leave with answers to their questions and a better understanding of the social and solidarity economy, potentially inspiring new career paths.
