The establishment, closed for several days due to a hygiene issue, can once again welcome the people of Nice.
On March 25th, several reports of microbiological sampling analyses were conducted at Gare du Sud. These analyses were prompted by the discovery of particularly dangerous bacteria called “coliforms.” Following this detection, the administrative closure of the hall in the Liberation district was promptly announced.
The results of these analyses have finally been released, and it is with relief that we learn they comply with the standard.
Already tarnished by its economic situation, Gare du Sud will be able to avoid criticisms regarding its sanitary condition. Nevertheless, the establishment remains in crisis, as part of the management is under judicial liquidation. In response to this situation, Christian Estrosi has expressed his willingness to initiate a termination for misconduct and mentioned that several potential buyers have already shown interest.
