AGECOTEL is the leading professional trade show for the food industry in the PACA region. Held every two years in alternation with the SIRHA in Lyon, it will take place at the Palais des Expositions in Nice from February 3 to 6, 2008.

Organized by Nicexpo, the manager of the Nice Fair and many other exhibitions, it has risen since its inception to the status of a prime meeting place for all regional players in the sector: hotels, bars, restaurants, communities, equipment suppliers, and food product providers. Both friendly and efficient, this must-attend event is even more anticipated by its exhibitors and visitors as the French Riviera represents the highest potential in the concerned sectors.

Aware of the tremendous reservoir of commercial opportunities it contains, its organizers have bolstered the new edition. By surrounding themselves with talented partners, they offer a denser, more dynamic new formula that gives prominence to entertaining activities, demonstrations, innovations, awards, and distinguished guests. The best symbol of this renewal is the hosting of the First International Meeting of the disciples of Auguste Escoffier, which brings together nearly 2,000 professionals worldwide, distributed in more than 13 countries.

The stated goal is to undoubtedly beat the previous attendance record from 2006, with 200 exhibitors having welcomed nearly 13,000 visitors.
