At the root of many events including the now-famous Nice Pink Parade, is the Aglae association.
Founded in November 2005, this association from Nice, led by Maxime Briziarelli, has as its mission:
– To present and defend the interests of its members,
– To develop, for its members, any action aimed at considering the specific lifestyle of homosexuals,
– To promote gay culture (arts, leisure, nightlife, relations with others),
– To disseminate and inform its members in the context of preventing Sexually Transmissible Infections.
To this end, Aglae organizes two events:

Apéro-Débat
– Presentation of the new Board of Directors and the new Office of AGLAE 2007.
– Information on the projects for 2007 and current Aglae Events for the first semester (SIDACTION – WORLD DAY AGAINST HOMOPHOBIA – AUCTION – GAY FORUM DES ANGES…).
– Exchange of ideas and desires for the coming year.
Meeting starting at 7:30 PM at the brand new bar “LE FARD” (new Aglae member) 25, Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
Entry is, of course, free and open to all.
Drinks are at association rates: sodas and fruit juices at 2.50 euros, draft beer at 3 euros, kir at 2.50 euros, and wine.
