As indicated by the CEO of Air France, Frรฉdรฉric Gagey, last week at the National Assembly in response to the deputy from Nice, Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, an agreement has been signed with the unions of flight personnel and the management to maintain the Air France base in Nice.
Deputy Charles Ange Ginรฉsy welcomes this agreement, which puts an end to the questions and uncertainties of Air France’s flight personnel and revises the “Perform” Plan announced by the company, which initially planned to eliminate these provincial bases.
For the parliamentarian, “this decision is good news for all of Air France’s staff but also for the users of France’s second international airport, which services the entire Alpes-Maritimes department to accommodate the area’s strong tourist traffic. Maintaining this base will allow 200 local families to stay in our department, and it will also enable users to keep direct local contacts and ensure service continuity. This decentralization of resources is a guarantee of cost control and Air France’s success.”
