A Spanish company from the IAG group has been offering a new direct connection between Nice and Seville since June 2nd. Three weekly flights are scheduled until October 24th, strengthening access for Côte d’Azur travelers to Andalusia.
New route between the Côte d’Azur and Andalusia
The first direct flight between Seville and Nice landed on June 2nd at 21:07 at Nice Côte d’Azur airport. This arrival marks the launch of a connection operated throughout the summer season. Three weekly rotations are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, as part of Vueling’s 2026 program. The airline becomes the only operator to connect the two cities on a direct flight.
This opening is part of the airline’s development strategy on the French market. Several Iberian destinations are already available from Nice, such as Barcelona, Valencia or Bilbao. The new service complements this offer and facilitates access to Andalusia for Côte d’Azur travelers.
Tickets went on sale at the end of January with promotional entry-level fares. The introductory price can approach 60 euros return during promotional periods, although the average is around 150 euros. The base fare includes a small backpack without cabin baggage.
Seville attracts visitors for its recognized architectural heritage, with monuments listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Giralda. This new connection makes it possible to plan short stays in a popular region of southern Spain.
Strengthened service between France and Spain
This Nice–Seville route accompanies the expansion of Vueling’s network between the two countries. The airline is thus continuing the development of its summer connections and consolidating its presence at Nice airport. The operating period extends until October 24th, with regularity adapted to tourist travel.
For Côte d’Azur travelers, this direct connection simplifies access to Andalusia and its capital, Spain’s fourth largest city. The region attracts visitors with its cultural heritage, historic neighborhoods and iconic sites.
