The Young Researchers Association of Alpes-Maritimes is rallying for the Telethon during a marathon day on December 7. From 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, a relay of conferences will be organized at the Nucéra Library auditorium, located at Place Yves Klein.
More than twenty doctoral students from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis will take turns presenting and sharing their work. In partnership with the AFMTelethon, the day’s proceeds from the entrance fee of 3 euros will be entirely donated to the foundation.

The subjects covered over more than eight hours will satisfy a wide range of interests, including the most demanding. From the history of religious practices in modern times to jazz, through economics, law, and literature, amateurs and professionals, researchers and experts will be able to discover the full range of higher education offered in Nice. The entrance ticket allows access to all presentations, each lasting ten minutes. The public is also encouraged to participate in discussions with a Q&A session. Topics directly linked to the Telethon, such as “Children of the Moon,” will be addressed. This study, financed by the AFM, helps better understand the unique challenges of such diseases and the advances made in research.

The main goal of the day is to provide an overview of the richness of topics discussed and the diversity of profiles present. It aims to demonstrate that Alpes-Maritimes is a dynamic place for exchange and social involvement. This event, orchestrated by the president of the Young Researchers Association of 06, Marie-Ange Gregory, also showcases the commitment of the student community when necessary. All of this in a fun and interactive way. Participants are invited to combine pleasure with purpose for the sake of sick children. Discover and share while working for a good cause.
