On the occasion of the installation of the first board of directors of the Local Public Company (SPL) “Côte d’Azur Aménagement,” Alain Philip, Deputy Mayor of Nice in charge of Public Works, Urban Planning, and Territorial Development, President of the Metropolitan Commission in charge of Transport, Major Works, and Urban Planning, was elected President of the Board of Directors.

Created following deliberations by the municipal councils of the identified shareholders and the metropolitan council on June 21st, the Local Public Company “Côte d’Azur Aménagement” is an operational tool for carrying out development projects.

Initially formed around the Metropolis, the majority shareholder, and the 8 communes of Nice, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Levens, Cap d’Ail, Roquebillière, and Isola, the shareholder circle of the SPL is intended to expand based on future needs and requests.

The Local Public Company will enable the communes and the Metropolis to facilitate the execution of development projects entrusted to it while offering the advantages of pooling resources, means, and expertise.
