– A snack is organized by the students of Port Lympia College for the Italian students from the province of Cuneo, as part of the Alcotra project, a strategic educational project under the European cross-border cooperation program.
– Objective: a better understanding of our neighbor
The General Council is participating in this project, which aims to deepen common-interest issues and to network educational and training stakeholders, particularly by promoting mobility.
Lasting for three years until 2012, it brings together 25 French and Italian institutional partners and is led by the Piedmont region in Italy.
It aims to allow students of the Nice Academy to benefit, during this period, from school exchanges with Italian institutions located in the cross-border area: the Piedmont region (provinces of Turin and Cuneo), the Liguria region (provinces of Imperia and Savona), and the autonomous region of the Aosta Valley.
– The funding is provided by the General Council, amounting to โฌ155,638.80 over three years, supplemented by โฌ409,049.23 of European ERDF (*) funds, and โฌ49,500 contributed by the rectorate of the Nice Academy, for a total budget of โฌ614,187.
