Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp, Senator of Alpes-Maritimes, has just been appointed to the Board of Directors of France Télévisions.
Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp was recently appointed to represent the Upper House on the board of directors of France Télévisions. She announced her commitment “to continue with the same passion and determination to contribute to the excellence of French public broadcasting services.”
Elected Senator of Alpes-Maritimes since 2020, Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp is a member of the Culture, Education, Communication, and Sport Committee. “My mission as Senator of Alpes-Maritimes is guided by a strong desire to represent and defend the interests of my fellow citizens,” she declared.
Last month, the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, mentioned a reform of public broadcasting. Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp, who will newly join the board of directors of France Télévisions, will work on this reform. For the senator: “Public broadcasting must renew itself without betraying its values and, above all, without losing sight of its connection with the territories.” She also adds that she remains informed about the situation of the employees of France 3 Côte d’Azur, who are expected to relocate soon.
