On Saturday, the city of cinema projected onto its screen the 85th Miss France election and Nice-Première was privileged to be invited. On-site, we met journalists and photographers from local and national press, present to immortalize the event.
This year, for the 9th consecutive time, Jean-Pierre Foucault was the master of ceremonies. With his undoubted elegance, he appropriately welcomed the charming jury president, Laetitia Hallyday, who expects the new miss, succeeding Cindy Fabre, to “spread happiness.” Surrounded by personalities dear to her heart, the former model thus elected, with the viewers, the young woman who will proudly represent our country in 2006. From the beginning of the show, the 45 candidates dazzled the audience with their grace and elegance through choreographies learned in a short time.
For the journalists, the evening began in front of two plasma screens. The small screen then showed us images of what was happening a few meters from us and in the press room, the disappointment was present: “If it’s to be here and watch television, it was just as well for us to stay at home.” These people were not wrong. Being in the audience to capture the atmosphere was far more interesting.

During her 1st press conference with the “mother of Misses,” this beautiful young 19-year-old blonde did not disappoint with her charming smile. It must be said that the questions were not flying: were the journalists tired or mesmerized by her beauty?
At 1.73m tall, the Cinderella with the “singing southern accent” wants to be the “Miss France of simplicity.” She must not disappoint Geneviève De Fontenay (who liked the “gendarmette side” of Miss Pays de Savoie).
But with the sun she has in her voice, the Languedoc native will easily conquer the “lady with the hat.”
