This Sunday in Villefranche-sur-Mer, the French constant weight apnea championship took place, bringing together the top champions of the category for the occasion.
In the presence of a dream ambassador, Julien Barr, it was Alice Modolo who, with a dive to a depth of 76 meters, clinched the gold medal and set a new French record.
This performance is a prelude to an exceptional season for the Clermont-native (but adopted Niรงoise), who will be present in the Bahamas from July 16th to 26th for the legendary Vertical Blue and at the World Championships in Turkey from October 2nd to 9th.
For her, the 2018 season could well be one for the record books.
