A Citizen Café titled “Prostitution in France and in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Situation and Challenges” is being organized this Friday at 6:30 PM at the Théâtre des Loges, 18 avenue Thiers.
Human trafficking, fighting against the prostitution system, penalizing the client… Amidst a public debate that is often “sensationalist” and simplistic, a legislation with contested developments, and the daily suffering of individuals facing a complex social reality with multiple facets, the association “Tous citoyens” aims to address the issue of prostitution through the perspectives and analyses of Céline Bressieux, who works daily supporting individuals in prostitution in Nice, and Prune de Montvalon, a socio-anthropologist specializing in the issue.
