This morning, at 8:45 am, the death knell rang from all the churches in Nice to pay tribute to the victims of the Notre-Dame attack: Vincent Loquès, 54, Nadine Devillers, 60, and Simone Barreto-Silva, 44.
One year ago to the day, on October 29, 2020, a terrorist entered the basilica and claimed three victims, two devout women and the sacristan.
A minute of silence was observed in all public buildings right after the death knell rang.
