For the past five years, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, through the Integration Clause Facilitation Unit, has been working to promote, organize, and develop the implementation of integration clauses in public contracts of local authorities and establishments governed by the public procurement code.
In the context of the construction of the Allianz Riviera, the Metropolis and the Vinci Construction France group have implemented sports mentoring. This initiative, as a means of fostering social bonds, aims to highlight the work accomplished by individuals in integration programs and to promote the transmission of values such as self-improvement and integration into a team, thanks to the commitment of high-level athletes.
Since December 2011 and until the end of the project, several high-level athlete mentors have been supporting individuals in these programs. Through meetings or joint activities, they convey the importance of team spirit and the satisfaction of a job well done: here, the construction of a structuring sports facility, which will be a reference on all levels.
This Thursday, April 4, 2013, marks the launch of the 2nd edition of the sports mentoring program. Mentors from OGC Nice Côte d’Azur, Didier Digard, Renato Civelli, and Fabien Dao Castellana, will interact with their mentees and participate with them in activities related to various trades (operating a lift, plumbing, electrical work, etc.). This is an opportunity for each participant to build strong and enriching relationships.
