The Allianz Riviera, designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and all subsidiaries of VINCI Construction, was conceived with a proactive approach to sustainable development desired by the Nice Cรดte dโAzur Metropolis, within the National Interest Operation of the Plaine du Var โ Eco-Vallรฉe*.
The first annual Sustainable Development meeting at the Allianz Riviera, on the occasion of signing the photovoltaic contract with EDF ENR, the leader in rooftop photovoltaics in France, will be an opportunity to discover the energy assets of the venue โ natural ventilation, geothermal energy, rainwater harvesting, solar energy โ during this event, which will mark the beginning of the photovoltaic project.
The Allianz Riviera is a multifunctional venue with a capacity of 35,000 to 45,000 spectators. Its resident club, OGC Nice, will thus be able to fully utilize its potential.
The National Sports Museum will be installed within the new venue. The 5,000 m2 of dedicated spaces will help make the Allianz Riviera a vital part of the daily life of the region’s residents.
