In the night from Saturday to Sunday, around 3 AM, a fire broke out on the third and top floor of a building in the Libรฉration district, on Villermont Street.

Fifty-three firefighters were mobilized and were able to evacuate one person before discovering another, deceased in their home. Their identity and the cause of the fire are currently unknown.
The fire having reached the roof, it may have damaged the structure of the building, in which case rehousing may be necessary.
One firefighter was slightly injured during this intervention.
