The Grand Jury 2013 auditioned 9 finalist companies out of the 48 applications received to honor 5 winners who will benefit from concrete and personalized support from the contest partners, thus accelerating the implementation of their projects. One of the five companies is Greenprix, based in La Colle sur Loup, which received the award for design and marketing.

Carried by EDF Commerce Rhône-Alpes Auvergne and EDF R&D, this contest rewards innovative European startups and SMEs in the fields of energy management and control, customer relations, and design. This initiative, born in 2012, gathers around EDF numerous regional actors in research and innovation.

As highlighted by Christian Missirian, Director of EDF Commerce Rhône-Alpes Auvergne, during the ceremony held in one of the most emblematic places, the Institut Lumière in Lyon: “This second edition of the contest is a real success by the number and quality of applications, some fifty from France and Europe. For EDF, innovation is a growth driver and a competitiveness asset.”

Greenprix received the award with the following motivation: The wide range of innovative products offered, from the module for electrical panels to wall sockets, provides a simple and affordable solution to the issues of monitoring, managing, and optimizing electricity consumption. These products, suitable for both businesses and communities, can achieve up to 25% electricity savings with a quick return on investment.
