Born in 2008 in Nice, ZeFestival showcases films related to lesbian, gay, bi, trans, and + issues.
The festival enjoys recognized popularity, particularly thanks to the large audience it gathers and its close collaboration with the cultural affairs departments of the cities of Nice and Marseille, the SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, and the Alpes Maritimes department. The festival quickly won over the public and enabled its regional development.*
ZEFESTIVAL aims to present, once again this year, premieres and exclusives, and its selection team has attended the largest international festivals. The programming proposed this year will be eclectic and international. The desire to open these films to a wide audience will be expressed through screenings aimed at young audiences, through partnerships.
At a time when European societies are tempted by communitarian or nationalist tendencies, ZeFestival aims to contribute to promoting values of openness, respect, humanism, and non-discrimination, for better living together.
