It’s a double celebration that the Association “les Amis de LACASSAGNE” celebrated with the management of the Nice anti-cancer center.
Indeed, thanks to the involvement of the Association “les CHORALINES 06”, €2000 were handed over to Professor Joël GUIGAY, Director of the institution.
The sum had been collected during the concert that these two associative structures had initiated at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Sunday, November 25; an event that delighted the public who came to participate in what was a moment of intense emotion.
Moreover, the project’s focus for the year 2017 was dedicated to the rehabilitation of the tunnel connecting two buildings by passing under the Avenue de Valombrose.
A sinister passageway and an obligatory path for staff and patients, it was reimagined by the Nice artist “SYLVIE T” and inaugurated in September 2017 in the presence of the Prefect, who remarked that among the Nice buildings, the Prefectural Palace was missing.
This gap was filled with the hanging on the exhibition wall of the “Camin dei Art” of this emblematic work, always depicted through the prism of “SYLVIE T”.
