On the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the association that bears his name is organizing two events to celebrate the hero of the Two Worlds.
An exhibition of documents provided by the Municipality of Nice, panels on Garibaldi’s marine life loaned by the Municipality of Sanremo, and photos by artists Chiara Sammugheo and Marc Tanz will be open to the public at the Bellanda Tower from June 25 to July 25.
Visiting hours are from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM, every day.
On July 3, music on the square dedicated to him, a short distance from the house where he was born, will remind us of his legendary figure.
A duo of artists, soprano Ilaria del Prete, one of today’s best voices and who sang at the Monte Carlo Opera this season, accompanied by pianist Paolo Poti, will offer the public a program of musical arias.
The concert will begin at 8 PM.
