For her very first exhibition, Marie-Christine Jaupart wanted to highlight her works created in pastel, a technique she has been practicing for 3 years. You can find her works on display until November 30, 2013, at the Maison du Département et des Seniors located at 6 Avenue des Phocéens in Nice.
Thus, about forty of her paintings will be showcased in her exhibition “Déclinaison de pastel,” addressing various themes and techniques: portraits, reproductions, still life…
Born in Lille, Marie-Christine began drawing and painting in her childhood. She has been living in Nice for 40 years. Trained as a fashion designer, she has worked for cinema, television, and fashion. She refined her pastel technique at the CEDAC in Nice Cimiez.
