Starting from Saturday, February 7, the tourism offerings in the high country will expand with the implementation of the “Rando Bistrot” operation. Six thematic itineraries are available for exploring a more responsible form of tourism.
Participants will embark on a guided hike accompanied by professionals, leading them to discover the local terroir and inhabitants. They will also have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic meal in a “Bistrot de pays.”
The Rando Bistrot aligns with the principles and criteria of sustainable tourism and is part of the products tested within the framework of the cross-border ALCOTRA project titled “The Southern Alps Natural Parks Commit to Ecotourism.”
Respectful of both environmental and socio-cultural resources, they adhere to the criteria of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism of the Natural Parks of the Alpes-Maritimes.
