Animal slaughter sites during Eid al-Adha

In order to ensure hygiene and safety during the slaughter of animals for Eid al-Adha, three slaughter locations are planned in the department on August 11 and 12:

 the slaughterhouse in Puget-Théniers, primarily reserved for professional butchers;

 a temporary slaughterhouse in Escragnolles (La Bastide area); this slaughter site will only be open on Sunday, August 11.

 a temporary slaughterhouse in Contes (2130 Châteauneuf Road).

These slaughterhouses are subject to inspections conducted by the departmental directorate for the protection of populations – veterinary services.
