Anne Boquet, Prefect of the Burgundy region and Prefect of the Côte d’Or, has just been appointed today, as Prefect without portfolio in the Council of Ministers. Starting from December 12, 2011, Anne Boquet will take the position of Director General of Services for the Urban Community of Nice Côte d’Azur, which will become France’s first Metropolis from January 1, 2012.

An Officer of the Legion of Honour, from the Diderot class of ENA, Anne Boquet has held the highest responsibilities, both at the central administration level and in external service, notably as High Commissioner of the Republic in French Polynesia, from 2005 to 2008, and Prefect of Yvelines, from 2008 to 2010.
