On Sunday, January 21, a protest took place against the immigration law of Interior Minister Gรฉrald Darmanin at Garibaldi Square in Nice.
This Sunday, according to the organizers, a thousand demonstrators gathered against the Darmanin law. During this protest, flags of the CGT union were seen. It was supported by left-wing parties such as LFI, CFDT, and PCF06, as well as by associations like Emmaus and Roya Citoyenne.
After the last protest in December 2023, the collectives are coming together for new demonstrations against the immigration law. Four days before the decision of the Constitutional Council, mobilizations are planned in France. Defined as a โshameful law,โ the collectives are opposing the immigration law, which was passed in Parliament last December.
