The seventh edition of the Salon with the Sweet Scent of Love takes place at Place Nationale from February 14th to 17th. This seventh edition will feature a rich program of events and a grand prize contest.
With 35,000 visitors last year, the show has continued to grow since its inception in 2007. The event aims to present to the general public the excellent products of Italy and France, accompanied by numerous cultural initiatives including film screenings and public events at the stands
of artisans from the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Alpes-Maritimes. Genuine demonstrations of craftsmanship, to honor the value of good artisanal work, the pursuit of excellence, and the demand for quality that guide artisans in their daily work.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the French Riviera hosts one of the main events of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Nice, organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Alpes-Maritimes and the City of Antibes Juan-les-Pins.
The show is a moment of conviviality and sharing where tradition and creativity mingle to highlight the craftsmanship and high-quality artisanal productions.
A grand prize contest
This year, on the occasion of Pain, Love and Chocolate, a grand prize contest will take place, organized in partnership with Air France, Nice-Matin, and the “Cœur d’Antibes” Association. The luckiest participant will win a trip for two to Venice.
To participate, simply collect three stickers with three purchases from shops and artisans in Antibes, attach them to a game card, fill it out, and submit it in the designated box at the show.
An unprecedented marriage between Peynet and chocolate
At the Peynet Museum in Antibes, you can admire the chocolate reproduction of one of the artist’s most famous paintings, “The Lovers with Doves,” created by an Italian Master Chocolatier.
Craftsmanship in the spotlight
For four days, the talent of master bakers and French and Italian artisanal products will delight the taste buds and eyes of thousands of food lovers and romantics. The Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Alpes-Maritimes has mobilized artisans of art and flavors to offer many
original gift ideas for Valentine’s Day: costume jewelry, fashion accessories, decorative objects, not to mention sweets, candies, and chocolates, to participate in the grand love celebration of Antibes.
A rich program of events
As every year, numerous activities are organized for food lovers and romantics: a treasure hunt and drawing workshop for the youngest, a baking competition for novices, screenings, and for the first time this year, thanks to the enthusiasm and participation of the Professional Bachelor’s students in Event Communication from Sophia Antipolis, a speed dating event for all those who have yet to find their soulmate!!!
