For Xavier Garcia, the first federal secretary of PS06, who initiated the proposal: “We bring different directions into the public debate, but we have the Republic in common. And we will never accept the normalization of hatred. That is why we are calling on the residents of the Alpes-Maritimes, of all sensibilities, to come together to say: NO, anti-Semitism is not France!”
