Attention sports enthusiasts! Since January 31st, applications for the 2022 Nice-Cannes marathon have been open.
The Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes 2022 marathon will take place on October 30th and applications have just opened for the marathon distance (42.195 km between the Promenade des Anglais and the Croisette).
Anyone born after 2002, whether licensed or non-licensed, can register for this event to experience this “five-star marathon”, the second-largest marathon in France after Paris.
Since its creation in 2008, around 150,000 runners have participated in this race, enjoying an idyllic course by the sea with snow-capped mountains in the background.
Last year, 9,356 runners participated in the marathon across all events. With an average speed of 19.28 km/h, it was Kenyan Enock Onchari who came first in the marathon event on November 28th.
