Border warfare, trench warfare, and war of attrition, the First World War, or “The War to End All Wars,” was a succession of some of the bloodiest battles in our history. On November 11, 1918, the Armistice was signed, marking the end of the fighting and the victory of the Allies.

On the occasion of the Armistice of November 11, 1918, and in tribute to those who died for France, a commemorative ceremony and the rekindling of the Flame of Remembrance will take place, in the presence of authorities and veterans’ associations, at 10 a.m. at the War Memorial of Rauba Capeรน.
