After previous exhibitions, some in the most prestigious historical buildings in Italy: Altopascio (Castle of Tau), Florence (Palazzo Panciatichi), Acqui Terme (Palazzo Robellini), Pontremoli (Castle of Piagnaro), Verona (Palazzo della Gran Guardia), Parma (Palazzo Giordani), the itinerant exhibition of Fiorella Pierobon resumes its journey in France in places touched by the Via Francigena.

“Pathways of Light” is a personal exhibition conceived with works expressly created inspired by readings dedicated to the tiring journey of pilgrims on the Via Francigena, a historical path which, in the Middle Ages, connected all of Europe from Canterbury to Rome and even to Jerusalem.

The art of Fiorella Pierobon is an art of “boundaries”, a journey in balance on the frontier dividing the dreamlike vision from the emotional perception of reality. Fiorella’s “Pathways of Light” are insights that transcend the limit of spaces and delve into the soul of the viewer to stimulate in them reactions and reflections, without providing the keys of interpretation that might refer to the realistic vision of the subject.

The formal and chromatic purity with which she paints and the continuous expressive experimentation are the demonstration. For her, the essence of everything does not mean to create simplistically, but to understand what mechanisms animate and move things: her way of making art is not an escape from life, but a means to deepen her personal knowledge and understanding towards a dimension in which color and material play a fundamental role.

The exhibition is sponsored by the European Association of the Via Francigena.
