It should be noted that this event takes place at the same time as the Nice Book Festival. This is certainly not a coincidence, and we emphasize this delightful initiative, where artists, gallery owners, and art dealers from our County will offer their works, both paintings and sculptures, to discerning enthusiasts for three days from June 7th to 9th. That’s Art of the Prom
The Promenade des Anglais is one of the most globally known streets, and it is on this and the Quai des Etats Unis, therefore ultimately very close to the book festival, that this Mostra will make modern art accessible to the general public, both in painting and in the plastic arts, including sculpture.
No fewer than 70 stands await visitors in this ‘museum’. After the pleasure of prose and verse, it will be sculpture and painting that in turn satisfy tastes for aesthetics and beauty.
This event is organized by NICEEXPO, known for its quality organization, a talent that has been demonstrated many times over several years at the Citadel of Villefranche during the Franchement Art fair.
Art of the Prom is a first and should soon become an unmissable event in Nice’s cultural calendar. Some will feel a twinge of nostalgia remembering ‘All to the Art’ which took place at the exhibition palace.
Just like the book festival, Art of the Prom opens the summer season, the season of festivals and culture, firmly establishing Nice’s privileged place in the arts.
